International certification

  Under the guidance of the internationalization strategy, the college of Management and Economics (CoME) is committed to international certification to help cultivate new talents with international competitiveness. At present, CoME has obtained 5 international certifications including AMBA (The Association of MBAs) certification.

  The MBA/EMBA/MPA program was first certified by the British Association of Masters of Business Administration AMBA in 2013, and was again unconditionally awarded the accreditation for the maximum duration of 5 years in 2019.

  AMBA was established in the United Kingdom in 1967 and is an independent organization specializing in MBA program quality certification. AMBA certification is an international certification system for MBA program of business schools, and is one of the world's three largest business education certification organizations.

  The undergraduate program of financial management has been accredited by HKICPA ( Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant Australia) in 2014, marking that the undergraduate program in financial management of Tianjin University has reached international standard. Tianjin University is one of the first mainland universities to be certified by the HKICPA.

  The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants was established in 1973 under the Professional Accountants Ordinance, Chapter 50 of the Laws of Hong Kong. Its mission is to serve the accounting profession and the public through an effective and transparent self-management system, and to serve the development of an effective profession. It is a world-renowned accounting professional organization .

  CPA Australia is one of the world's leading professional accounting bodies. Since its establishment in 1886, the Association has a long history of more than 130 years, with more than 160,000 members across 125 countries and territories. CPA Australia is a member organization of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC, International Federation of Accountants), which aims to provide globally recognized professional accounting qualifications and assist members to become significant business leaders.

  The undergraduate and postgraduate programs of engineering management were certified by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) for the first time in 2001, and were re-certified in 2006, 2011 and 2016 respectively.

  The Chartered Institute of Building is mainly composed of professionals engaged in construction management. It is a professional society involved in the management of the whole process of construction. The Society was established in 1834 and has a history of more than 180 years. Since the formal establishment of cooperation with the Ministry of Construction of China in 1993, the Society has made positive contributions to the development and improvement of construction management education in China through training and education programs, professional assessments and mutual recognition of professional university programs.

  On the basis of the above-mentioned international certifications, CoME actively promotes AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) certification and the PMI-GAC (Project Management Institute - Global Accreditation Center for Project Management) degree Accreditation to serve the international talent cultivation strategy, and practice the construction of world-class disciplines with the concept that "We develop leaders with fact-based thinking, an innovative spirit, and social responsibility awareness through the creation, application, dissemination, and integration of management, economics, and engineering knowledge",.
