Abstract：

We consider a supply chain with a single supplier and two retailers satisfying market demands. The retailers place orders to the supplier, and if the total amount of their orders exceeds the supplier’s capacity, quantities are allocated proportionally to the orders. Experimental studies are conducted on the capacity allocation game using subjects motivated by financial incentives. With deterministic demands and stochastic demands, the ordering behaviors of the subjects are investigated. Models with bounded rationality are developed to explain experimental data for characterizing the retailers’ ordering behaviors.

On the other hand, it is not clear whether the strategy method and the direct-response method lead to different behaviors in economic experiments. Based on the setting of the capacity allocation game, a normative-behavioral experiment and a neuroimaging (fMRI) experiment are conducted with the two methods. The results show that no significant difference is observed in the ordering behaviors between the two methods.

198819961998从事博士后研究工作，1998他曾担任美国期刊《Journal of Operations Management副编（2004～2006）、国家自然科学基金委员会（管理科学部管理科学与工程）专家评审组成员（2008～2011）。赵老师于2003年度获国家杰出青年科学基金。

赵晓波教授在包括国际顶级期刊在内的管理学期刊上发表了一系列学术论文，例如Management Science, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Mathematics of Operations Research等。近六年来，赵晓波教授与海外几位知名教授持续通过举办“行为运筹与行为运营国际年会”大力推动行为运营与行为运筹研究在国内的发展。
